Sussex based designer Phoebe Sherwood is known for the for way she playfully interprets natural form using a combination of sustainable materials such as wood, recycled silver and recycled gold. Phoebe gets much of her inspiration from her English upbringing and Scottish heritage, as well as wildlife, and objects that she sees whilst out walking her dog, Ernie. She starts by sketching her ideas before crafting pieces using a variety of traditional techniques. She began making jewellery whilst studying Art & Design at Brighton City College before taking on an apprenticeship and working for a goldsmith for four years. She founded Phoebe Jewellery in 2011.
To this date, Phoebe has released nine nature inspired collections as well as a line of one-off pieces made from recycled gold and responsibly sourced diamonds.
